Sustainable Solutions for Mattress Waste

Europe discards 30 million mattresses annually, most ending up as waste. Oceancircle recycles them into valuable resources—cutting emissions and closing the loop.

The Challenge and our Solution

From Waste to Resource – Rethinking Mattress Disposal

The cruise and hospitality industries generate vast amounts of mattress waste, with disposal options often limited to landfills or incineration. This not only wastes valuable materials but also results in significant CO₂ emissions and environmental impact.
Oceancircle offers a smarter solution. By optimising on-site processing, we significantly reduce waste volume before transportation—minimising emissions and cutting costs. Our innovative approach ensures that discarded mattresses are efficiently repurposed, contributing to a more sustainable and circular future.

From Waste to Value:
Closing the Loop

Traditional waste disposal harms both the environment and your bottom line. Oceancircle rethinks waste management by transforming high-volume materials into valuable resources—reducing emissions and creating a truly circular economy.
