Giving Carpets a Second Life

The EU generates 2 million tonnes of carpet waste yearly. Oceancircle transforms old carpets into new resources—reducing landfill and carbon emissions.

The Challenge and our Solution

From Waste to Resource – Rethinking Carpet Disposal

Carpet waste remains a major environmental issue in the cruise and hospitality industries. Despite sustainability efforts, most used carpets still end up in landfills or incineration—causing high CO₂ emissions and loss of resource. The challenge is not just disposal but creating a circular system where old carpets become new products.
Oceancircle bridges this gap by transforming carpet waste into valuable second-life materials. Our innovative approach ensures efficient processing at the source, reducing emissions and making sustainable waste management as cost-effective as conventional disposal.

From Waste to Value:
Closing the Loop

Traditional waste disposal harms both the environment and your bottom line. Oceancircle rethinks waste management by transforming high-volume materials into valuable resources—reducing emissions and creating a truly circular economy.
